ΣΦΔ (Sigma Phi Delta) occurs as unique agent international engineering fraternity. When such, a fraternity sole admits male engineering students. There are deuce more Agency Engineering fraternities, 1 is Sigma Phi Delta's Sister Sorority ΑΩΕ - Alpha Omega Epsilon and admits women, and the other one is Triangle Fraternity and admits not just engineering students, but architecture, and science students as well.

Sigma Phi Delta was founded at University of Southern California on April 11, 1924 & currently has Xi active chapters globe wide, by having Ix chapters withinside the United States, a single in Bangledesh, and an additional in British Columbia.

Eta Chapter - Marquette University
Sigmthe Phi Deltthe Eta Chapter was founded in Might 23, 1931 once a local Marquette Engineering Fraternity, Omega Sigma Phi, merged using a so National Fraternity: Sigma Phi Delta. Eta Chapter has a pack of registered alumni in the entire Sigma Phi Delta Organization, by owning all over 900 dwelling alumni globe wide, & is Marquette University's oldest active fraternity. (although the university is universally trying to alleviate that) Eta Chapter has a rich history in the Milwaukee & Marquette Communities & remains super active now. As a annually tradition Sigma Phi Delta with pride administors a Marquette's College of Engineering Scholorship Examination for incoming freshman, & is commonly super active inside student government.
